Model Overview
The Acura TLX is a five-passenger luxury sport-sedan, offered in a choice of either front-wheel or all-wheel drive configurations.
The front-wheel drive TLX is outfitted with a 206-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine, or the 290-hp 3.5-liter V6 engine. While the TLX SH-AWD is only offered with the 290-hp 3.5-liter V6 engine. The 2.4-liter is attached to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission with paddle shifters. The 3.5-liter is attached to a 9-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. TLX features the latest iterations of Acura super-handling technologies - Precision All-Wheel Steer (P-AWS), Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD). Every TLX is equipped with a power moonroof, Jewel Eye LED headlights, heated front seats, automatic climate control, satellite radio and HandsFreeLink (Bluetooth) wireless connectivity. Safety features include driver seven-airbags, hill start assist, tires pressure monitoring, anti-lock brakes with electronic brake distribution, and vehicle stability control.
